IF I AM BUYING A HOUSE, HOW DO I PAY YOU?

After I find you a home, I am paid at the closing by the seller of that property. If you are a buyer, it cost you nothing to have a knowledgable agent on your side for one of the biggest transactions in your life!

IF I GET A HOME INSPECTION, HOW DO I KNOW IF MY HOME PASSED OR FAILED?

It is common to think that a home inspection is something you can pass or fail, but in reality, it is not. A home inspection simply assesses the condition of your home and provides a report explaining any issues with critical systems in the home including plumbing, HVAC, electrical, and roof problems. The important thing to remember is the inspector will find something because no home is perfect even new construction homes, but, thankfully, any issues can be fixed or negotiated to please the buyer and seller.

ZILLOW SAYS MY HOME IS VALUED AT THIS PRICE. WHY IS YOUR PRICE DIFFERENT?

Zillow is a great site for viewing homes in any market, but the truth is they cannot accurately give you a proper home evaluation without physically walking through your home. As your agent, I draw up a comparable market analysis that is similar to the way appraisers determine the value of homes. I take relevant comparables and make adjustments to ensure your home is at the right price to sell.

ALL AGENTS ARE THE SAME. WHY SHOULD I CARE WHO I HIRE IF THE JOB GETS DONE THE SAME?

Yes, the process of buying and selling tends to have a general series of events that end at the closing table, but no two agents are alike. Like other professions, the quality of work that an agent devotes to their role is determined by their bar of excellence. While some may be content with doing the minimum, I know an agent has to be everything their client needs when they need it. Some agents are more creative, responsive, and analytic than others. This doesn't make agents who are not bad, but it does make a buyer or seller feel more secure in a real estate transaction.
